There are three main types of golf clubs: woods, irons, and putters.
Woods are used for long-distance shots.
Irons are versatile and ideal for mid-range shots.
Putters are used on the green to roll the ball into the hole.
For beginners, a forgiving and lightweight club is recommended.
Choose clubs with larger clubheads and flexible shafts to make hitting easier.
A complete beginner set with 10–12 clubs is usually sufficient.
Golf clubs are commonly made from stainless steel, titanium, carbon fiber, or graphite.
Titanium offers high strength and light weight.
Graphite shafts reduce vibration and increase swing speed.
It depends on your playing frequency and maintenance.
On average, golfers replace their clubs every 3–5 years, or sooner if performance decreases.
Women’s golf clubs are lighter, shorter, and often have softer shafts to match swing speed.
Men’s clubs are generally longer and slightly heavier.
Clean your clubs after each game using warm water and a soft brush.
Store them in a dry, cool place, and use headcovers to prevent scratches.
